LUKOIL OVERSEAS PUTS INTO OPERATION INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Today the Integrated Management System of LUKOIL Overseas has been put
into pilot operation.
The system of the first phase covers the corporate center (Moscow office), LUKOIL Overseas, Caspian directorate with
the center in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) and KarakudukMunai operating company
(Mangistau Region of Kazakhstan). Accounting, cost
accounting and allocation as well as project management modules are launched
simultaneously.
Besides, asset portfolio, material flow, contractual activity and procurement
management modules are commissioned at KarakudukMunai. As for the corporate
ñenter and the Caspian directorate, these modules will be activated during the
second phase, in June 2008. Intensive training of the system users is presently
under way. System will be put into commercial operation on July 1, 2008.
Development of Integrated Management System in the LUKOIL group
started in 1997 based on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) designed by German
company SAP AG. LUKOIL-Perm, oil producing company, and
LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez refinery were selected for the pilot implementation of
the system. The system was then rolled out to other entities of the group.
Decision on establishment of LUKOIL Overseas Integrated Management System
was taken in December 2006. The major outcome of system implementation will
be the integration of LUKOIL Overseas into the common information space and
overall LUKOIL management system.
