SERGEY NIKIFOROV BECOMES
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF LUKOIL OVERSEAS
Sergey Nikiforov was appointed Senior Vice President, Production and
Development, of LUKOIL
Overseas.
Sergey Nikiforov was born in 1962 in Kuibyshev (now Samara). In 1984, he graduated
from Kuibyshev Technical Institute as qualified mining engineer majoring in oil
and gas field’s development technology and complex mechanization. He held
various engineering and technical positions in Uryevneft and Langepasneft
(Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area). From 1998 he was Deputy Production Manager of
Karachaganak Petroleum Operating in the Republic of Kazakhstan, from 2002 Regional Director of
LUKOIL Overseas for
Egypt, from 2006 General Director of
LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company and at the same time Head of Tashkent office
of LUKOIL Overseas since 2007. Sergey
Nikiforov is married, his son is a student.
As reported earlier, Azat Shamsuarov, who previously held the position of the
Senior Vice President of LUKOIL
Overseas was appointed Vice President of LUKOIL and General
Director of LUKOIL-Western Siberia.
